Medicare Rights: Know them, use them

Many people are not aware of their rights as Medicare recipients, (or as a member of a Medicare managed care plan). When it comes to appealing a medical concern for ourself or a loved one, there is a place to get help and there is NO charge to you while the appeal is in effect. They will look at the medical records. They will make a decision based on these records and notify you of the outcome.

Medicaid Assistance Medicaid is health insurance that helps many people who can't afford medical care pay for some or all of their medical bills. Medicaid is a state administered program and each state sets its own guidelines regarding eligibility and services. Medicaid eligibility is limited to individuals who fall into specified categories. The federal statute identifies over 25 different eligibility categories for which federal funds are available. These categories can be classified in to five broad coverage groups:
Pregnant Women; Children and Teenagers; Person who is Aged, Blind, and Disabled

Medicaid Food Stamps (727) 469-5700

SCHIP

State Children's Health Insurance Program offers low cost health insurance plans for children, up to age 19, who are not already insured. Families who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid may be able to qualify for SCHIP.
